Kaugnay po ng DepEd Order No. 038 s. 2020 na inilabas noong Nobyembre 20, 2020, ang mga reimbursement/s o mga nagastos hanggang Disyembre 31, 2020 na may kaugnayan sa pagtupad sa tungkulin at may kalakip na opisyal na resibo ay naibigay na po sa kinauukulan. Ang nabanggit na Deped Order po ay may bisa hanggang taong 2020 po lamang. Ibig pong sabihin, ang mga nagastos sa mga petsang hindi na po sakop ng kautusan ay hindi po muna maibabalik o mare-reimburse sa ngayon. Kailangan po nating maghintay ng panibagong kautusan na magiging batayan po ng ahensiya para sa mga susunod na hakbang. Bilang tugon po ng Tanggapan ay isinama na po sa school Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) ang pangangailangang ito para sa taong 2021. Kung sakali po na mayroon na pong opisyal na kautusan ay maaari po itong maibigay agad. Sana po ay inyong maunawaan ang katayuan ng Tanggapan. Read more...OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF DEPED ORDER NO. 38 S. 2020 December 21, 2020OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF DEPED ORDER NO. 38, S. 2020 The Schools Division Office of Malabon City would like to shed light on the misinformation being spread by a certain teacher organization about the reimbursement of communication expenses of teachers. It is true, as stated in the said communication that DepEd authorizes the payment of communication expense (mobile and internet) of personnel under a WFH arrangement which were incurred from March 16 until December 31,2020, subject to submission of pertinent documents for reimbursement. It is also stipulated that the amount required for their reimbursement shall be charged against available Maintenance and Other Operating Expense (MOOE) balance of Public Schools, subject to availability of funds. Prior to the issuance of DepEd Order 38, s. 2020, dated November 20, 2020, budget for the remaining months were already programmed and allotted to various activities and school mandatory expenses as provided in DepEd Order 15, s. 2020. Further, all public elementary and secondary schools have prepared and submitted the second Supplemental Annual Implementation Plan for the last quarter of the year (October-December). Obligations incurred from January to October were already liquidated and submitted to the Division Office and Commission on Audit (COA). During the special meeting with principals, it was discussed and agreed upon that all school activities and expenses in December will be adjusted in order to allocate budget for the reimbursement of December communication expenses. To address this concern and help the teaching and non-teaching personnel with their communication expenses, through the initiative of the Division Office, all learners and teachers will receive sim card with load of Php500 from the City Government utilizing the Special Education Fund (SEF). Budget allocation for the reimbursement of communication expenses of teaching and non-teaching personnel in the Division and schools are already included in Annual Supplemental Plan starting January 2021. Mejia - SPA in English, Acacia Elementary School Schools Division Office - Malabon City strengthens the DepED Computerization Program (DCP) by spearheading the distribution of DCP Packages of batches 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 37 and 38 to all the public schools in Malabon and by providing series of intensive trainings for the teachers related to the realization of the K-12 curriculum and the 21st century education. Dr. Jenilyn Rose B. Corpuz, Officer – In – Charge, Office of the Schools Division Superintendent and Mr. Gilbert D. Manucduc, Division Information Technology Officer led the distribution of DCP packages last August to December 2016. Elementary schools received one or two of the batches 29, 30, 31 and 32 depending on their enrolment. While junior high school received batch 33 and senior high school with special ICT Track had batch 37 and 38. Workshop on the proper utilization of these technologies were also given right after the installation. The Orientation-Seminar on Fire Prevention and Control was conducted in coordination with Malabon City Bureau of Fire Prevention (BFP) on March 11 at SDO Conference Hall, wherein supervisors, division heads and staff, and Schools’ DRRM coordinators actively took part. The Division Office and all schools also participated in the 1st and 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill on April 21, and June 22. World Vision Development Foundation, a development and advocacy organization, donated Grolier books, encyclopedias, and other supplementary learning materials to 28 elementary schools of the Division. The school principals were also oriented on the proper and effective utilization of the said materials by World Vision representatives Aldwin Jamora and Ma. Robel Luna during the turn-over ceremony held on April 7, 2016 at SDO Conference Hall Petbowe Trading Corporation, headed by Edwin Martinez, turned over the Petbowe / Granville Audio Visual Room to Potrero National High School on June 13, 2016. The said classrooms are built to help address congestion, and assist in the delivery of better quality education especially in the early childhood stage. Known as MPower Kinder Classrooms, the project consists of the construction of one-storey, two-classroom building with toilet, fully furnished with chalkboards, shelves, tables, chairs, multimedia packages, and educational learning materials all amounting to Php1,986,608.20. Read more...Brigada Eskwela draws 100k volunteers, stakeholdersMarch 1, 2017Brigada Eskwela draws 100k volunteers, stakeholders Approximately 100,000 volunteers and stakeholders cooperated in the annual Brigada Eskwela of the public schools of DepEd Malabon City from May 30 to June 4, 2016. All schools simultaneously kicked off the week-long activity with the theme, “Tayo Para sa Paaralang Ligtas, Maayos, at Handa Mula Kindergarten Hanggang Senior High School”. The Division level kick-off was hosted by Malabon National High School on May 30th, and was attended by stakeholders from various sectors of society including the local government units. Officials who graced the occasion were City Vice Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, Councilor Ninong Dela Cruz (on behalf of City Mayor Antolin Oreta III), and Councilor Paolo Oreta. One of the kick-off’s highlights was the ceremonial turn-over of cleaning and repair materials and disaster preparedness equipment from the Office of the City Mayor. Habitat for Humanity also provided shirts for student-leaders. Supervising Administrative Officer Ms. Marilou Cusi of DepEd NCR expressed her admiration of the culture of volunteerism amongst the thousands who flocked to the venue to participate in the Brigada. Spearheaded by the School Governance and Operations Division, interfacing with the Curriculum Implementation Division, the seven-day training was conducted to provide teachers with “concrete understanding of the curriculum framework, learning standards, and competencies, teaching plans, and assessment”. The training consists primarily of break-out sessions for content and pedagogy per learning area. Common topics and activities included curriculum framework, key stage content and performance, curriculum guide walk-through of the learning competencies and standards, explicit and differentiated instructions, lesson planning and writeshop, performance tasks (GRASPS), creating table of specifications (TOS), the art of questioning, and demonstration teaching. For elementary level, Nenita Rivera of Amang Rogriguez ES ranked 1st with her paper entitled “The Effects of the Level Content-Based Reading Materials on the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of the Grade 6 Struggling Readers of Amang Rodriguez ES”. Africa Jailani Sampedro of Ninoy Aquino ES placed 2nd, followed by Jeanne Nadurata of Tañong ES I. Tinajeros National HS, meanwhile, swept the top three spots for secondary level. The Summer Reading Camp Across All Learning Areas with the theme, “I Can Read and Play”, was conducted from April 14 to 27 by all elementary schools in the Division targeting both abled and struggling readers. The camp activities were all play and games-based, and Longos Elementary School was declared as the best implementer. All elementary English school reading coordinators and department heads, meanwhile, participated in the Training-Workshop on Intensifying Leadership in Reading Program Implementation held from May 24 to 26 at the SDO Conference Hall. The said training is the first phase of the L2 (second language) Reading Program under the Malabon Readster 2016. The above reading programs are also hoped to be strengthened through the implementation of the Early Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (ELLAN) which is targeted at improving the reading and numeracy skills of Kinder to Grade 3 pupils. School principals, along with their School-Based Management coordinators attended the “Division Training on the Enhanced School Improvement Planning (SIP) Process, and School Report Card (SRC)” held at SDO Conference Hall from February 9 to 11 (elementary), and at Ciudad Christhia Resort, San Mateo, Rizal, from February 11 to 13 (secondary), wherein the ICT coordinators also participated. The training was primarily aimed at raising the school performance as a solid and very timely response to the challenges of the reformed basic education. The Seminar-Workshop on Pedagogical Skills and Subject Contents, conducted on May 18 to 20 (elementary), and May 25 to 27 (secondary) at Malabon National HS, strived to equip teachers with wide range of knowledge for the attainment of content and performance standards. Participated by department heads/coordinators, master teachers, and teachers with less than three years in service, the workshop included discussions on 21st century skills, assessment of differentiated instruction, indigenization and contextualization of learning, instructional strategies, research and development, and learning resource management, and demonstration teaching and critiquing led by the education program supervisors of CID, and their chief, Dr. Josefina Pablo. Another notable endeavor undertaken by CID was the conduct of the Training-Workshop for Upgrading Viable Table of Specifications (TOS) Coherent to Test Items at Malabon ES on April 20 to 22 (Elementary), and April 25 to 27 (Secondary). Read more...DepEd Malabon conquers new heights with SDS CorpuzFebruary 27, 2017The Department of Education - Division of Malabon City is set to conquer new heights as they welcome the new officer-in-charge of the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent in the person of Dr. Jenilyn Rose Corpuz, CESO VI on January 8, 2016. Known as a technology-savvy leader, Dr. Corpuz is a passer of several prestigious examinations including the Educational Management Test in 2010, and also became a Career Executive Officer Eligible in 2009. A seasoned educator and public servant, she served as a secondary school teacher for nine years. She rose through the ranks and became a head teacher for ten years, and a secondary school principal from 2001 to 2012, after which she served as an acting assistant schools division superintendent, and eventually the OIC schools division superintendent of San Juan City in January of 2015. The new superintendent shared that she would continue the various undertakings of her predecessor, Dr. Alejandro Ibañez, CESE.
