Job Summary:

       1. Provides strategic and technical input towards the full implementation of the articulated basic education curriculum, enforcing curriculum standards, localization and indigenization of the articulated curriculum to suit the conditions and context of the locality and ensuring access to quality and varied learning resources
           2. Directs and manages the work of the CID team that will help manage curriculum implementation in the schools division and provide technical assistance to the schools in line with curriculum and learning management

Job Summary:

         1. Provides schools and learning centers in a district with relevant and timely service through:
                 • the conduct of instructional supervision;
                 • provision of technical assistance in school management and curriculum implementation;
                 • establishing a conducive physical environment for learners and school workers; and
               • sustaining strong and harmonious partnerships and collaboration among stakeholders in order to improve access to and delivery of quality basic education.

Job Summary:
        1. Supervises the development, production, and distribution of all types or learning resources (printed, digital, multimedia, etc.) for use in the schools division so as to increase access to varied quality learning resources by intended users (i.e. teaching and learning resources and professional development materials)
       2. Improves delivery of the basic education curriculum
       3. Provides technical assistance to the schools in the set-up, management, operations, and maintenance of their Learning Resource Centers

Education Program Supervisor

         1. Provides technical support in the full implementation of the articulated basic education curriculum for a subject area and the development of learning resource materials to suit the conditions and context of the locality
         2. Provides technical assistance to the schools in curriculum implementation, instructional supervision, and learning materials development and quality assurance
         3. When part of LR Design and Development Team, may be assigned as Instructional Design and Development Coordinator

Education Program Specialist II

Job Summary:
          Provides basic education services to out-of-school children, youth and adults by assisting the PSDS in coordinating activities on ALS programs & projects, instructional supervision, monitoring & evaluation, and provision of technical assistance to ALS Learning Facilitators (Mobile Teachers, DALSCs, Literacy Volunteers, Instructional Managers, Facilitators) at the District level

Project Development Officer II
Reports to: Chief Education Supervisor

Job Summary:
          1. Assists the LR supervisor in forming and supporting the various LR design and development teams, coordinating schedules content developers (writers, illustrators, editors, QA reviewers) and target outputs and sources out the necessary support for the teams including providers for the needed competencies (e.g. writer, editor, illustrator, creative and lay out artist etc.)
         2. Encodes metadata and support content development activities as directed
         3. Responds to individual users’ queries and difficulties with the Web-based LRMDS; provides instructions and training; and diagnoses and solves common problems

Job Summary:
        1. Manages, maintains, and monitors uploaded and catalogued materials in the LRMDS portal and maintained the schools division library
        2. Provides technical assistance to the library hubs and Learning Resource Centers as well as monitors the effectiveness in the delivery of their services

         3. Library Hubs (to be integrated with the LR Center and regional libraries)
